I Know That My Redeemer Lives: “
Jesus, who is called Christ, is the firstborn of the Father in the spirit and the Only Begotten of the Father in the flesh. He is Jehovah, and was foreordained to his great calling in the Grand Councils before the world was. He was born of Mary at Bethlehem, lived a sinless life, and wrought out a perfect atonement for all mankind by the shedding of his blood and his death on the cross. He rose from the grave and brought to pass the bodily resurrection of every living thing and the salvation and exaltation of the faithful. He is the greatest Being to be born on this earth–the perfect example–and all religious things should be done in his name. He is Lord of lords, King of kings, the Creator, the Savior, the God of the whole earth, the Captain of our salvation, the Bright and Morning Star. He is in all things, above all things, through all things, and round about all things; he is Alpha and Omega, the first and the last; his name is above every name, and is the only name under heaven by which we can be saved. He will come again in power and glory to dwell on the earth, and will stand as Judge of all mankind at the last day. ‘I Know That My Redeemer Lives’ Hymn # 264 from Lutheran Worship Author: attr. This Great and Amazing Church – The Mormon Church: “
This video is an excerpt from a devotional address given by Stephen H. Russell at BYU-Hawaii on March 18, 2004. Professor Russell quotes LeGrand Richards concerning an experience Elder Richards had while serving as president of the Netherlands LDS Mission in 1913. LeGrand Richards was a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints from 1952 until his death in 1993 at age 96. As can be noted from the quote in this video, Elder Richards was an enthusiastic champion of the gospel of Jesus Christ and quick to share the glorious truths of the Restoration. In the foreword to Elder Richards biography ‘Beloved Apostle,’ President Gordon B. Hinckley wrote, ‘Few men in our generation have done more to advance the work of the Lord than has Elder LeGrand Richards.’ Dr. Russell was visiting professor of economics in the School of Business at BYU-Hawaii when this devotional address was given. speeches.byu.edu

The Testimony of Joseph Smith: “
The testimony of the Prophet Joseph Smith lives on, for he left a name and a fame which cannot be slain! This video is not only Joseph Smiths testimony, but it is also my testimony. In 2004, while attending the BYU Semester at Nauvoo, I spent a lot of time researching and pondering the life of the Prophet Joseph Smith. I would often sit at the bench next to his grave and think about the things I had both heard and felt. In the quiet of those nights, I gained a firm conviction of the truthfulness of Joseph Smiths testimony which I cannot deny. I wanted to capture the essence of those experiences in this video. It took me a long time to film and put this video together (its been a project that Ive been working on for over two years), but I feel it was well worth my labors. I care little about how many views this video receives but more about how much it effects those who watch it. I hope that you enjoy it and that it will help strengthen your testimony of the Prophet. This film is dedicated to my good friend, Sara. Thank you. To learn more about Mormons, please visit: www.mormon.org
